Acacia honey is incredibly clear and has a very mild, pleasant sweetness. It doesn't crystallize quickly. High quality glass bottle packaging.

Gaurav Joshi

Mumbai

This Wildflower Honey tastes complex and floral, like mountain blossoms. You can tell it is completely raw and unfiltered.

Sneha Roy

Kolkata

Tested this honey for purity. It does not dissolve easily in water and sinks to the bottom, proving it has low moisture and zero sugar syrup. Excellent product.

Dr. Anil Menon

Trivandrum

The floral undertones of this mountain honey are spectacular. Genuine cold-extracted product from Kashmir valley.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my raw honey crystallize, and does it mean it has gone bad or is fake?+
Crystallization is a completely natural, hallmark process of raw, pure, unfiltered honey — it is actually proof of quality. Honey crystallizes because it is a supersaturated solution of natural glucose and fructose. When glucose molecules cluster together, they form crystals. Ultra-filtered, heated commercial honey (like most supermarket brands) is processed to remove pollen and microcrystals, preventing crystallization for 1–2 years. Raw honey with its natural pollen grains crystallizes faster. To re-liquefy crystallized honey: place the jar in a bowl of warm water (max 45°C) and stir gently — never microwave or boil.
What makes Ramban Sulai Honey unique and what does GI-Tagged mean for honey?+
Ramban Sulai Honey is produced by honeybees foraging exclusively on the blossoms of Plectranthus rugosus (locally called 'Sulai') — a wild perennial herb that grows in the remote forest valleys of the Ramban district in J&K. The GI tag (GI Application No. 470) legally certifies that this honey comes only from this specific geographical region and plant source. Sulai honey is prized for its uniquely white or very light amber color (extremely rare in honey), its light floral-herbal aroma, and its exceptional antimicrobial properties and respiratory healing effects.
What is the difference between Sulai, Wildflower, and Acacia honeys?+
Each is a distinct mono-floral or multi-floral honey with unique properties: Sulai Honey — white/light amber, GI-tagged, rare, strong antimicrobial and respiratory properties, mildly sweet with herbal notes. Wildflower Honey — dark amber to brown, multi-floral (many different mountain wildflowers), strongest antioxidant content and mineral richness, complex flavour, crystallizes faster. Acacia Honey — crystal clear, light, high natural fructose content which delays crystallization for months, very mild sweetness, lowest glycemic index of all our honeys — ideal for diabetics.
Is your honey pasteurized, heated, filtered, or adulterated with sugar syrup?+
Absolutely not. Our honey is raw, cold-extracted, and only passed through a light double-layer mesh filter to remove large hive debris like beeswax, bee parts, and propolis chunks — it retains all its natural pollen, enzymes (amylase, invertase, glucose oxidase), and trace minerals. We never heat above 40°C, never pasteurize, and never blend with HFCS, rice syrup, jaggery water, or any other sweetener. The only ingredients in our honey are: honey.
Can honey be safely given to infants and toddlers?+
No. Raw honey should NEVER be given to infants under 12 months of age. Raw honey can naturally contain spores of the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. An adult or child's mature gut can safely handle these spores, but an infant's immature intestinal system cannot, potentially leading to infant botulism — a rare but serious paralytic illness. After 12 months, children can safely consume honey in moderate quantities. Consult your pediatrician before introducing honey.
How do I test raw honey for purity at home?+
Several reliable home tests for raw honey purity: (1) Water test — add one tablespoon of honey to a glass of water. Pure honey will slowly sink to the bottom and dissolve only when stirred. Adulterated honey with added sugar or syrup will begin dissolving immediately. (2) Paper test — place a drop on absorbent paper. Pure honey will not be fully absorbed for several minutes due to its low moisture content. Adulterated honey absorbs quickly. (3) Thumb test — place a drop on your thumb. Pure honey stays intact; adulterated honey spreads or runs immediately.
What is the shelf life of raw Kashmir honey and how should I store it?+
Raw honey is one of the only foods with a theoretically indefinite shelf life — archaeologists have found 3,000-year-old honey in Egyptian tombs that was still edible. This is because honey's combination of low moisture content (<20%), low pH (3.2–4.5), and hydrogen peroxide production from glucose oxidase makes it inherently antimicrobial. However, for best quality and flavour, consume within 2 years of harvest. Store in a sealed glass jar at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Refrigerating honey is unnecessary and accelerates crystallization.

How to Consume & Store

To extract the maximum flavor and therapeutic value, we recommend steeping in warm water or milk for at least 15-20 minutes before consumption. Store the product in its original airtight container in a cool, dry, and dark place. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or humidity, which can degrade its delicate aromatic compounds.
