The Destruction of Fulvic Acid
Shilajit's primary active compound is Fulvic Acid, which acts as a carrier molecule that shuttles nutrients directly into your cells. Pure Shilajit in nature is a sticky, tar-like resin.
In order to turn this sticky resin into a dry powder (to put into capsules), manufacturers must subject it to extreme heat and mix it with drying agents (fillers). This high-heat processing destroys the delicate molecular structure of the fulvic acid and kills the natural enzymes, rendering the capsule virtually useless.
